I spent a good amount of the past 2 years in my backyard, sitting, noticing, drawing, and thinking about many things. During these “sessions”, I was visited by a variety of birds on a daily basis. These chance encounters forced me to slow down, look, and appreciate with awe and wonder. This image was inspired by those moments and conversations.
